"The East African Superstar had traveled to Tanzania where he had a number of shows over the weekend and indeed the shows took place without much trouble. Chameleon retired to his hotel room at Impala hotel (third floor).

In the middle of the night Chameleon had a sleepwalk through the window of his hotel room breaking his legs. The doctor who airlifted him said: ?He got injuries on the lower legs; it is a crash fracture of calcenus bones of both legs,"
Chameleon says he went to his room after the show and the next thing he noticed were people surrounding him and others saying he was a thief. Luck was on his side though as one of the onlookers identified him and rushed to inform the promoters.

Chameleon's promoters came to his rescue immediately and rushed him to Arusha hospital and while there he contacted his wife to charter a plane. He was then airlifted to Entebbe International Airport and admitted at Nsambya hospital.

Chameleon was due to perform in South Africa on 11.Oct.2008 where there was a picnic and live music concert at Rhodes Park, Kesington JHB courtesy of Legacy Sounds but it is now not clear if the same will take place with the injuries on his legs". Mwisho wa nukuu.
